Abstract: The review surveys and gives a systematic account of literature data concerning the application of carboxylic acid iminoesters in the synthesis of five- and six-membered nitrogen-containing heterocycles with several heteroatoms as well as heterocycles containing in the ring oxygen and sulfur atoms together with the nitrogen atoms. The bibliography includes 350 references.
