Determination of the normalized variance of the wandering of a laser beam in a turbulent atmosphere

E. R. Milyutin, K. P. Pogosyan, A. A. Taklaya
Abstract: An experimental study was made of the normalized variance of the wandering of a laser beam. The studies were made during the period from June 23, 1982 to October 28, 1982 in the test grounds of the Institute of Physics Research of the Armenian Academy of Sciences. The results indicated saturation of the normalized dispersion of the wandering on increase in the turbulence of the atmosphere.
