Abstract:
Quasicontinuous lasing was attained in an NaF:F2+ :F3– crystal subjected to laser excitation. Stimulated infrared radiation lasting for about 0.5 msec was emitted in the wavelength interval Δλ = 0.98–1.4 μ, which made it possible to construct an intracavity spectrum analyzer with a maximum sensitivity κ ≈ 5×10–9cm–1.
