Influence of pressure and tension on the phase of coherent radiation in fiber waveguides

Abstract:
Analytic expressions are obtained for the coefficients representing the sensitivity of the coherent radiation phase in multilayer fiber waveguides to changes in the axial tension, and to radial and hydrostatic pressures. The conditions under which these coefficients vanish are formulated.
