Broadening of the emission spectrum of cataphoretic lasers

Abstract: A study was made of the possibility of combining several active elements in one cataphoretic laser in order to widen the emission spectrum. Experiments were carried out using a cadmium–zinc–helium laser. It was found that this laser could emit separately or simultaneously the coherent radiation due to transitions in cadmium and zinc vapors.
