Suppression of coherent noise during one-dimensional spatial filtering of images
A. A. Lapides
Abstract:
A method was developed for reducing the coherent noise during one-dimensional spatial filtering of images by the use of a rocking mirror. This method ensured practically complete suppression of coherent noise without affecting the filtering process. An advantage of the method was the absence of complex optomechanical systems.
