Optoacoustic detection using a two-frequency waveguide CO2 laser

Abstract:
A two-frequency waveguide CO2 laser is considered as a radiation source for optoacoustic detection. It is shown that the use of such a laser makes it possible to eliminate the background signal associated with laser radiation absorption in the detector windows and thus increase the measurement sensitivity.
