High-stability single-frequency solid-state lasers

N. V. Kravtsov, O. E. Nanii

Institute of Nuclear Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University
Abstract: Theoretical and experimental studies directed toward the design and fabrication of high-stability single-frequency cw solid-state lasers are reviewed. The discussion centers on structural features of, methods for designing, and fundamental characteristics of a new generation of solid-state lasers: miniature monolithic solid-state lasers with semiconductor pumps (chip lasers).
