Graduated from Tomsk State University in 1973 (Radio-Physics). He works as the Professor of Information Systems and Technologies department in Tomsk Polytechnic University. His research interests include intellectual data analysis, neural networks, geoinformation systems and technologies, information control systems for oil-and-gas production enterprises.
