Abstract:
Simulation of photon echo-signal generation in impurity samples (ruby type) was carried out. The mathematical model of interaction of electromagnetic radiation with a system of two-level atoms based on Maxwell–Bloch equations has been constructed. For numerical solution of the received system the method of forecast and correction on the basis of modified Euler's method was used. The program realizing the computing experiment has been developed and calculation of the two-pulse photon echo in two-level system (ruby) has been carried out.
Keywords:
photon echo, Maxwell–Bloch equations, numerical modelling, self-induced transparency, ruby.
