Abstract:
The problem of vector and axial-vector dominance in weak interactions of mesons in a quark model of superconducting type is discussed. Formulas are obtained that take into account the breaking of ρ−a1 universality, which is restored in the limit of exact fulfillment of the model mass formulas. The results are illustrated by concrete calculations of the
τ→ντρ and τ→ντa1 decay widths.
