Influence of relaxing defects on the dynamics of virtual domain walls

Abstract:
Influence of symmetry preserving defects on kinks dynamics in one-dimensional
scalar φ4-model is investigated. The change of kinks shape, conditions of their pinning
and behaviour of susceptibility and scattering function for defects in the regimes of
fast and slow relaxation are considered.
