Abstract:
A new representation is obtained for the amplitudes of elastic scattering of photons and electrons in a constant crossed electromagnetic field in the first order of perturbation theory in the Furry picture. The imaginary parts of the amplitudes are expressed in terms of products of Whittaker functions (for the photon amplitude) and Bessel and Anger functions (for the electron amplitude). The behavior of the amplitudes near their singular points is investigated.
