A representation of the kinetic equation for electrons in a homogeneous constant electromagnetic field

Abstract:
Wigner representation for electron density matrix in the case of constant homogeneous electromagnetic field is considered. The gauge invariant quantities (the electron coordinate and kinematic momentum) are chosen as the basic variables. The integrodifferential quantum kinetic equation is obtained for the distribution function in the approximation of weak coupling between the electrons and impurity centres. Kinetic coefficients are calculated for the quantum kinetic equation in the classical limit.
