Solution of the Pauli–Källén equation for unstable and stable particles

Abstract:
A solution of the Pauli–Källén equation is obtained for unstable and stable particles for physical
values of the parameters without any assumptions concerning the analytic continuation of
the solution with respect to the parameters. It is shown that the homogeneous equation has
only trivial solutions. The equation obtained can be used to investigate the resonant interaction
of collision products and to investigate the energy, angular, and polarization distrtbutions
of stimulated radiation.
