Kinetic equations for chemically reacting quantum gases. I
E. G. Kolesnichenko
Abstract:
Derivation of kinetic equations for chemically reacting gases is proposed. To this
end the analogue of the Bogoliubov hierarchy of equations for the reduced density
matrices of individual chemical components of the mixture is obtained. In the case under
consideration, the right-hand side of the equations in the hierarchy has the form of
a series with respect to density, which is connected with the non-addivity of the interaction
potential as well as with dependence of the definition of the bound state of
the group of particles upon the interaction between this group and other particles in
the system. Conditions of the weakening of correlations for particles in bound state are
formulated and the kinetic equations in the lowest approximation, taking into account
exchange reactions as well as reactions of the dissociation and recombination type, are
derived by means of the Bogoliubov method. This approximation takes into account
only the simultaneous interactions of several particles and does not take into account
the contributions from successive correlated pair collisions.
