The Chern–Dold character in cobordisms. I

Abstract: The fundamental results of the paper are
a) derivation of formulas for the Chern–Dold character chUchU and chUchU in the theory of universal bordisms UU and cobordisms UU, respectively;
b) derivation of the formula of a series over the ring ΩuΩu which gives addition in the formal group of “geometric” cobordisms, and derivation of the formula for the series kΨkU(u)kΨkU(u), where uU2(CPk)uU2(CPk) and the ΨkUΨkU are Adams operators in UU-theory.
