Abstract:
The literature on compounds of the type [R1R2N=NR3]+X– (diazenium salts) is surveyed. Their structures and properties are considered and methods for their synthesis as well as a wide variety of the chemical reactions of these reactive hydrazine derivatives are discussed. The bibliography includes 122 references.
