Abstract: A definition of Zhukovski stability is introduced. A new research tool— a moving Poincaré section— is considered. With the help of this tool, generalizations of the Andronov–Vitt and Demidovich theorems are obtained.
Keywords: Orbital stability, Zhukovski stability, Characteristic exponent, Poincaré section.
