Integral equations for complex resonators with an internal diaphragm

Abstract:
It is shown that the diffraction losses and the distribution of the field amplitude in complex resonators with an internal diaphragm are governed only by three parameters. A relationship is found between these parameters and the elements of the transfer matrices describing optical components of a given resonator. The results obtained make it possible to simplify greatly an analysis of complex resonators with an internal diaphragm.
