Abstract:
The rate constants kH2, kCH4, kHCl and kCl2 of the F+H2→iHF+H, F+CH4→HF+CH3, F+HCl→tHF+Cl, and F+Cl2→tFCl+Cl reactions were determined by two methods: 1) determination of the delay times of the stimulated emission signal relative to the beginning of the reaction-initiating pulse; 2) determination of the decay time of the stimulated radiation. The constants kH2 and kCH4 obtained in the present study were in good agreement with the published values. The constants kCH4, kHCl, and kCl2 determined by the two methods were in satisfactory agreement.
