Full-text PDF (614 kB) Citations (4)
Abstract: A method is proposed for recording of diffraction gratings by utilizing the Marangoni effect induced by laser radiation during evaporation of a thin adsorbing layer of a liquid on a solid substrate. The dynamics of the mass transfer processes is analyzed on the basis of an experimental study of the diffraction efficiency of a grating directly during its formation.
