High-sensitivity contactless laser manometer-flowmeter for corrosive media
G. A. Agapov, Yu. G. Lakin, V. V. Sizov
Abstract:
A description is given of a manometer-flowmeter based on the Michelson interferometer, one of whose arms contains an enclosure with the investigated substance and two diametrically opposed illuminators. The use of cat's-eye reflectors minimizes the influence of vibrations on the interferometer, which still retains a fairly high sensitivity of 0.0004 kgf/cm2. The positioning of one of the reflectors behind the enclosure avoids the possibility of contact with the investigated substance and makes it possible to use the proposed instrument in the measurements of the pressure (flow) of transparent corrosive media.
