Use of an intracavity adaptive mirror in control of the parameters of the radiation emitted from a copper vapor laser

Abstract:
A copper vapor laser with an adaptive mirror inside the resonator cavity was investigated. The results demonstrated that the divergence of the output radiation could be halved by the use of such a mirror and the mirror also provided an opportunity for controlling the spatial distribution of the intensity.
