Control of laser radiation parameters

Investigation of the possibility of controlling the output power of an industrial CO2 laser by an intracavity adaptive mirror

S. A. Gnedoĭ, A. V. Kudryashov, V. V. Samarkin, V. P. Yakunin
Abstract: It is shown that the output power of a continuously pumped industrial laser CO2 can be controlled by an adaptive mirror operating in the frequency range 0–7.6 kHz. The maximum modulation depth of the output radiation is 75%. A change in the output power is accompanied by a slight change in its mode composition.
