Influence of higher-order dispersive and nonlinear effects on the interaction of femtosecond solitons in fiber waveguides

Abstract:
Mathematical modeling is used in an investigation of nonlinear dynamics of the propagation and interaction of femtosecond solitons in fiber waveguides. The calculations demonstrate that such solitons can be used in fiber-optic communication lines operating at a data transmission rate 1 Tbit · km · s – 1.
