Abstract:
An investigation was made of the main parameters of thin-film optical waveguides based on epitaxial singlecrystal films of GaAs1–xPx and GaN. The waveguide losses were determined for different wavelengths and the feasibility of using these waveguides in integrated optics was analyzed.
