Thin-film waveguides made of dense crown glass
V. K. Kiselev, V. P. Red'ko
Abstract:
High-frequency sputtering was used in the preparation of high-quality thin-film waveguides made of various types of dense crown glass. The refractive index of films produced in this way was higher than that of the bulk materials. This was attributed to preferential sputtering of barium oxide.
