Investigation of the stimulated emission from Sr2Y5F19 crystals doped with Nd3+ ions

A. A. Kaminskii, S. È. Sarkisov, K. B. Seiranyan, B. P. Sobolev
Abstract: An investigation was made of the spectroscopic and lasing properties of Sr2Y5F19:Nd3+ crystals. Stimulated emission was observed at 300°K at wavelengths of 1.0493 μ (4F3/24I11/2 transitions) and 1.3190 μ (4F3/24I13/2). The excitation thresholds were 40 and 75 J, respectively.
