Abstract: Wavefront reversal and compensation of phase distortions in fiber waveguides with a liquid light-guiding core was observed for the first time. The use of benzene as an active medium placed in quartz capillaries made it possible to reduce the threshold for the observation of stimulated Brillouin scattering and wavefront reversal.
