Magnetic tuning characteristics of an He–20Ne laser in a transverse magnetic field

Abstract: The parameters of a magnetically tunable Zeeman helium-neon laser are calculated. A semiclassical theory is applied to a model of the J = 1→2 transition. It is shown that the theory agrees with the experimental results.
