Abstract:
A cathode-ray tube with a laser screen was developed for optical holographic memories. A study was made of the influence of the parameters of a laser screen on the quality of the reconstructed image. An energy analysis of the reconstruction process indicated that 2·103–2.5·104 bits could be read in a pulse of 150 nsec duration with detectors of 10–12–10–14 J/bit sensitivity. A study of the achromatization of the reconstructed image was made.
