Diffraction light modulators with thin-film cadmium sulfide transducers

E. T. Aksenov, V. A. Grigor'ev, N. A. Esepkina, V. Yu. Petrun'kin, V. P. Pikarnikov, S. V. Pruss-Zhukovskii
Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of the operation of a multichannel diffraction light modulator working at ~270 MHz. A suitable selection of the conditions of growth of CdS films made it possible to prepare large-area highly homogeneous transducers. Such transducers can be employed in laser radiation modulation.
