Prototype of an integrated-optics four-digit analog—digital converter

Abstract:
An integrated-optics four-digit analog—digital converter was constructed for the first time using a system of four interferometric LiNbO3 modulators. The minimum control voltage was 1.17 V and the width of the conversion band was 240 MHz when the load resistance was 50 Ω.
