Abstract:
An iterative algorithm is proposed for the control of an intracavity adaptive phase conjugation system utilizing information on the distribution of the phase in the exit plane of an unstable resonator. An analysis is made of the stability conditions of the adaptation algorithm. A numerical modeling on a computer is used to study the response time of the system and its operational effectiveness as a function of the resonator parameters and phase inhomogeneities in the active medium of the laser.
