Angular distribution patterns of thick-film holograms obtained by rigorous solution of the diffraction problem

N. M. Pomerantsev
Abstract: A computer was used to calculate the factors and coefficients in the Fourier functions representing the rigorous solution of the problem of diffraction of light in a thick medium with a spatially periodic distribution of the refractive index. The graphs obtained in this way give information about the difference between the approximate and exact dependences of the intensify of light in the first diffraction order on the thickness of the photosensitive film.
