Abstract: An investigation was made of the conversion of an image from λ = 10.6 μ to λ = 0.65 μ by nonlinear optical methods in a crystal of proustite. A resolution of 10 lines/mm was achieved using a crystal 0.65 cm thick. The conversion efficiency was not less than 10–5. The angular detuning of the signal beam was 0.170 rad.
