Low-loss fiber-optical cable

Abstract:
The first Soviet low-loss fiber-optical cable is described. The ten-fiber cable has the lowest optical losses of 8 dB/km at the wavelength of 0.9 μ and 5 dB/km at the wavelength of 10.6 μ.
