Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of the generation of the difference frequency of picosecond neodymium laser radiation in a lithium niobate crystal. This frequency was recorded in the millimeter wavelength range. A calculation was made of the generation of the difference frequency in a waveguide. The experimental results were compared with the calculations.
