Abstract: Scholar and person of encyclopaedic learning Nasireddin Tusi (1201-1274) is an author of more than 200 works on mathematics, astronomy, philosophy, physics, logic, music, the economy as well as on law and morality. In addition, he was a poet and statesman. He was the founder and head of the Maragha observatory, which was the most famous center of science for more than 50 years , not only in Asia but around the world. When the study Tusi mathematical works, remarkable facts and ideas which previously were unknown in the history of mathematics, were detected. That is the subject of the report. His most famous works in mathematics - a "Commentary on Euclid's Elements" "Statement of Euclid", "Collection of arithmetic using a blackboard and a dust", "Book on the complete quadrilateral" (Treatise on the Quadrilateral) " A Treatise to Cure Doubts Regarding Parallel Lines", dedicated V postulate, Revision of Ptolemy’s Almagest; the epistles of Theodosius, Hypsicles, Autolucus, Aristarchus, Archimedes, Menelaus, Thabit b. Qurra and Banu Musa, Astronomic Tables of Ilkhan N.Tusi considered the founder of trigonometry as a separate science. His work is widely recognized, it had an impact on the development of science in Europe.
