Biography

Sergei Valentinovich Fedorenko was born in St.Petersburg, U.S.S.R., in 1967. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and Doctor of Technical Science degree from St. Petersburg State University of Airspace Instrumentation in 1994 and 2009. Currently he is a Leading Research Fellow/ Professor in the Centre for Data Analysis and Machine Learning/ Department of Informatics National Research University Higher School of Economics, HSE Campus in St.Petersburg, Russia. His research interests include error-correcting codes, decoding algorithms, fast algorithms, discrete Fourier transform over finite fields, and communication systems.
