Probability Theory and Its Applicatiobs; Matheatical Modeling Humanities and Socio-Economical Systems.
Biography
In the middle 70 for the first time introduced into probability theory and statistics of concept of set-expectation; and set-medians for random sets (now Vorobovs set-expectation and set-median) which are similar to concepts of a expectation and a median for random variables (the PhDs thesis, 1979). In 1973 has constructed is random set model of of forest fire spread (now Vorobovs model). The thesis for a doctors degree (1993) is devoted to development of the new theory of random finite abstract sets and to its applications. The founder of eventology (2001), a new direction in the probability theory, studying movement of sets of events in humanities and socio-economics systems.
