The main scientific direction of work of Baisanov S. is the physical and chemical studies of phase equilibrium in the complex heterogeneous metallurgical systems, which allowed to obtain fundamentally important theoretical results and to develop new compositions of alloys and their melting technologies: ferrosilicoaluminium with alloying components of various purposes, alumosilicomanganese for deoxidation, alloying of steel and for the obtaining of the refined ferromanganese, alumosilicochrome grades from high ash coals, quartzite and metal wastes of chromium production to obtain refined ferrochrome. Currently, Baisanov Sailaubai is a supervisor of the fundamental and applied works in the field of metallurgical process theory.
