Biography

Is a professor at Chouaïb Doukkali University. He acts as head of the Group of Nuclear Physics and Technology (GPTN) within the Laboratory of Nuclear Physics, Atomic Molecular Mechanics and Energetics. He received his doctorate from Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg in 1984, and a PhD from the Catholic University of Louvain in 1991. The work he is carrying out within the group (GPTN) is oriented along two lines of research: A first axis of fundamental physics which is based mainly on the determination of the masses and cross sections of nuclei rich in neutrons, and a second axis on the promotion of applications of instrumentation and nuclear techniques in the field of the environment and earth sciences, namely the application of nuclear techniques to multielemental analysis (NAA, XRF, PIXE, DSTN, etc.), image analysis and processing applied to Solid Nuclear Trace Detectors (Hardware and Software), nuclear instrumentation (production of acquisition cards, nuclear electronics, etc.), automation and IT (development of simulation codes).
