I am the author of DROL, a specification language for computational geometry. This language acts as a tool for comparative analysis of many various algorithms for optimal solution of rectangular cutting problem. It has also proved to be efficient techniques for implementation of seminal algorithm for solution of non-guillotine rectangular cutting problem. Being motivated by a number of applied problems I have constructed an AWK language programming technology for transforming large arrays of economic information.

Graduated from Mathematical Gimnasium No. 30 (with Silver medal award) in 1996. Graduated from the faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics St. Peterburg State University (department of Operation Research) in 1971. Ph.D. thesis (St. Petersburg State University) was defended in 1995. The list of my works contains more than 30 titles.

In 2001 I was one of organizers of Russia-wide conference on optimal cutting (Central Research Institute for Ship-building Technologies).
