Abstract: We establish an operator formula for the shift of a solution in the case where the summand in the Euler–Poisson–Darboux equation containing the first derivative of the solution is perturbed by a group generator.
Keywords: Euler–Poisson–Darboux equation, abstract Cauchy problem, operator formula for the shift.
