Abstract: The Bamford–Stevens reaction with C_s-C₇₀(CF₃)₈ provides four regioisomeric cyclopropanated and at least one bis- cyclopropanated polyfunctional derivatives C₇₀(CF₃)₈DPM_n, n = 1, 2 [DPM = C(p-MeOC₆H₄)₂]. A strong influence of the addition patterns on fluorescence and electrochemical properties is demonstrated for three spectrally identified monoadducts C₇₀(CF₃)₈DPM.
