Abstract: A new type of stereospecific cascade cyclization was observed in the phosphorylation reaction of N,N’-bis(salicylidene)ethylenediimine with alkylenechlorophosphites, which resulted in the formation of tetracyclic hexacoordinated phosphorus derivatives containing the P–C–N fragment with a chiral carbon atom in the α-position to phosphorus.
