Abstract:
A theoretical model has been developed to describe the expansion of a plasma layer into vacuum for an arbitrary electron temperature. The limit transitions to the previous results for quasineutral scattering and Coulomb explosion have been demonstrated. Comparison with the numerical simulation shows a high accuracy of the theory.
