O. V. Baskov, V. D. Nogin

Saint Petersburg State University, Saint Petersburg, Russia
Abstract: The article continues the first part of the survey related to type-2 fuzzy sets and relations. Various techniques and methods of ordering type-2 fuzzy sets, including those based on pairwise comparisons, are analyzed. The existing approaches to solving multicriteria problems are analyzed, the set of feasible variants of which consists type-2 fuzzy sets. The problem of multicriteria choice with a type-2 fuzzy preference relation is considered, and axioms are given, the acceptance of which guarantees the fulfillment of the Edgeworth-Pareto principle.
Keywords: type-2 fuzzy sets, type-2 fuzzy relation, outranking of fuzzy sets, multicriteria choice.
